I'll dominate 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants met personally to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former twice world boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of the sport's biggest financial successes, regularly earning huge paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really going ahead.
